Your Mission
As an AI Engineer, you bring our AI Companions to life. You design and implement cutting-edge AI architectures, orchestrate state-of-the-art models, and ensure that our AI components don't just work, but perform excellently – so Nakamo revolutionizes regulatory work.
Your Tasks
RAG systems, agentic workflows, intelligent document processing – you develop robust AI systems that master complex regulatory challenges.
Embeddings, vector databases, retrieval architectures, AI agents – you not only implement but understand the mathematical and technical foundations behind them.
Benchmarking, quality metrics, systematic evaluation – you make AI quality measurable and drive continuous improvement.
From latency optimization to cost management to AI safety and local deployment – you get the maximum out of our systems and make them secure.
Research papers are your reading, new AI developments your inspiration – you stay on the pulse of time and bring cutting-edge technology into our product.
Your Mindset & Skillset
We're not looking for the perfect CV – but for a solid AI foundation, willingness to learn, and the drive to shape Nakamo's AI future with us.
Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, fine-tuning strategies, embeddings – you not only know what these concepts mean, but understand how they work in detail.
You program in Python and have already implemented AI projects. Frameworks like Pydantic AI or similar are familiar to you, and you've also gained experience with SQL and vector databases.
Hallucination mitigation, performance metrics, quality benchmarks – you understand how to make the quality of AI Companions measurable. You develop systematic tests and evaluation frameworks to ensure our AI solutions work reliably and precisely.
Monitoring, security, costs – these topics fascinate you. You don't need to have operated an AI solution in production yet, but you're burning to dive into these aspects and build robust, sustainable systems.
You follow current papers from the AI community with interest. You understand the implications of new developments and can assess which innovations are relevant for our work.
German and English are no problem for you – so we can build the best solutions together.
